More Thoughts on Lent...

Today's blog post is not written. I simply sat down at my microphone and recorded. 

I did that because, truthfully, I have had kids home for days on end and I have not made the time to write this post. But I had some thoughts that I wanted to share, so I just shot from the hip. I hope you like this style of communicating.

I also wanted to share that I won't be posting anything on this blog for the next two weeks. 

Why? Well, I am committed to walking with my new class from"Inside Out." I love communicating and focusing on those that are investing in themselves so I am allowing myself that freedom. (The cart for that "dig a little deeper in the well" class closes on midnight, Feb. 19, 2021.)

Another reason I won't be putting out new blog content: Eric is getting married next month. I gotta work on getting my people properly dressed and ready for the big event.

(Kids grow. My kids grow insanely. Pants that I just bought for 12-year old David are now too short. And 16-year old Thomas turned into a man when I wasn't looking.)

With that being said, I WILL be working behind the scenes; we are preparing a blog series called "Raising Strong Children in Today's World." Yep, we are gonna go into the challenges of raising kids in our culture and yep, we are gonna go into all of the rooms of the proverbial house. We may even hit some closets. Ha. So in the next two weeks I will be writing and recording those so I can have my heart, mind and soul free during Wedding Time.

Finally, we are putting the finishing touches on The Parenting Dare 2.0, our online course for parents. I handled the proactive version, which is geared for parents that have kids 14 years and under. I cannot wait to share that with you. 

So I think you can see that Lori needs to take some time and prioritize! My goal is to have the blog series available on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Thanks for your support and let me know how you like the shoot-from-the-hip-podcast.
