After 26 years of parenting, I still did not have a good approach to sex education and pornography. I went from total avoidance to lecturing about the risks and telling them not to do it and finally thinking the use of an internet filter was the easy answer. I am the parent of a 13 year old boy and in our house we believe in education. So when it came to educating our son about sexual education and sexual intimacy we started teaching early with tons of information. I did my research, my husband and I felt as though we really were doing our jobs as parents. Unfortunately I didn't think about the internet, cell phones, and social media. That is when The Parenting Dare came into play. This offered us some great tools and resources to help educate our son about the inappropriate sexual content on the internet.
