Retreat Coming Up!

I love this life. I love my crazy family, and all of the intensity they bring to my life, including five amazing grandchildren. I love my husband and how we are now dancing to a new song called Aging Together, which is sort of comical as we grow wiser and more saggy at the same time. I love my unexpected work as an educator, teaching sixth, seventh and eighth graders about the joy of reading and writing. 

But do you know what is the icing on that cake? You. I love the women that God has brought into my life, and hopefully, will continue to bring into my circle. I love sitting with women and contemplating deeper subjects. I love how we can ponder and think and share, becoming more grounded and authentic as we explore our hearts. That process helps us become better wives, mothers, friends, coworkers. 

With that in mind, I have created a morning of renewal set for Saturday morning, November 9, 2024, where we will deliberately focus on our lives, with the main thrust being Finding Peace in the Busyness of Our World.  I will have overarching themes and share a bit of my journey, yes, but we will also drill down into the practicality of your specific life.
